A substitute bus driver in Washington County is accused of having over 500 files of child pornography.
Police say 56-year-old Dennis Shrader is now behind bars after they found the files on devices inside his home after following up on a tip.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children had originally received a cyber tip all the way back in August of 2021.
There were then follow up tips in July and August of this year as well. Reportedly he had uploaded files to a cloud which led to a search warrant of his home.
Several of his devices were seized and was reported that there were images of sexual abuse of toddlers and children.
There were also videos and pictures of a girl partially dressed and nude on his laptop to which he admitted taking the images.
Shrader is a bus driver in the Bentworth School District. The district says they will be releasing a statement in the coming days.
At this time it's believed that none of the content he admitted to producing was any of the children that were passengers on his bus.
Shrader is being held on $1 million dollars bail in the Washington County Jail with a preliminary hearing set for October 5th.
