Butler man indicted on federal gun, drug laws, could face life in prison

A Butler man has been indicted on three counts of violations of federal gun and drug laws, announced U.S. Attorney Stephen Kaufman.

Darnell Wynn, 41, is accused of possessing with the intent to distribute substances containing heroin, fentanyl, fluorofentanyl and tramadol.


In addition, Wynn was charged with possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.

If convicted, Wynn could be sentenced to life in prison, a fine of up to $8 million or both.

The Butler Police Department conducted the investigation leading to Wynn's indictment.
