
Pittsburgh International Airport is hosting its annual abandoned property auction on Saturday.
Belongings left at the airport will be put up for bids at the Heavy Equipment Building on Cargo Road.
Spokesman Bob Kerlik tells NewsRadio KDKA that this year, ten abandoned cars and as will items like iPads, laptops, jewelry, and video game consoles will be on the auction block.
Other items like snakeskin boots, canes, speakers and boxes of electronics are also available.
Also available, lawnmowers, winter equipment for trucks, a concrete mixer and more.

Over 20 vehicles will be available, including 10 that were abandoned at the airport.
They include a 2016 Ford Explorer and a 2012 Chevy Equinox, 2005 Kia Sportage and 2022 Buick Century.
Airport work vehicles will also be up for auction. Many of those have high mileage and are being circulated out of the airport’s fleet.
Proceeds from Airport Authority equipment goes back to the airport and revenue from lost and found items goes to the ACAA Charitable Foundation.
Doors open at 8:30, the auction begins at 10 and will be going on the rest of the day.
