The staff at Carson City Saloon was laid off after a deadly shooting near the bar on July 7.
Owner Brian Vetere said business was tanking and employees were afraid to come to work.
Since, there's been a crackdown. Dozens of people have been cited for unwanted behavior including drunkenness, underage drinking, public urination and smoking marijuana.
On the Big K Morning Show, Vetere said the next challenge is getting visitors back to East Carson Street and spending money.
"That's still a little bit of an issue.," said Vetere. "Hopefully . . . the more police presence, if they keep it up, that means less crime."
Carson City Saloon reopens Thursday, September 7.
"Hopefully it resonates with younger people and they come back to the South Side," added Vetere.
Here are the results from this past weekend's enforcement.
