Due to Winter Storm Landon, local officials are adapting to the inclement weather coming down in the Pittsburgh area.
The City of Pittsburgh's Parks and Recreation team issued an important update for those wishing to use recreation centers today and into Friday morning.
All afternoon/programs with Parks and Recreation are cancelled for Thursday. Recreation centers are set to close on 7 p.m. Thursday. Those centers will re-open on Friday at Noon.
Parks and Recreation did say they are watching the weather closely and will issue any updates if changes are necessary. Their Twitter account is a great way to stay up-to-date with inclement weather-forced alterations.
