The coroner in Washington County is recommending that the District Attorney bring criminal charges against a police officer in a deadly police shooting that occurred earlier this year.
Eduardo Hoover Jr. was fatally shot following a police chase in April.
The District Attorney found that shooting to be justified.
The coroner, Timothy Warco, disagrees, and claims that the man who pulled the trigger, Mt. Pleasant Township Officer Tyler Evans, should be held accountable for his actions.
KDKA-TV is reporting that that if the D.A. decides not to press charges, Warco says he will go to the Attorney General with his findings.
The D.A. says he will be holding a press conference on the matter on Friday.
