Allegheny County police are now investigating a shooting that took place Thursday night.
Shortly after 11:30pm, calls to 911 reported a man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen on Kelly Street in Homewood.
Pittsburgh Police responded to the scene and found the victim. He was taken to an area hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.
Friday morning, the investigation was turned over to County police once it was determined that the shooting did not occur in the city.
The actual location of the shooting has not been released.
