A ruling is expected this week in the Allegheny County Common Pleas Court over whether or not a local restaurant should be closed due to COVID-19 mitigation violations.
The Crack'd Egg restaurant in Brentwood reportedly failed to follow the Pennsylvania mandates for face coverings and social distancing.
The restaurant's owner, Kimberly Waigand, told KDKA Radio's Lynne Hayes-Freeland that at the end of the day, she has no regrets and if she had to do over, she wouldn't change a thing.
"I will not make a health decision for anyone. It is not my place," she said. "I am there to serve the public when they come in and if they choose to wear a mask, that is fine. If they choose not to, that is fine."
