The Eagle has landed. Giant Eagle that is.

After three years of working remotely, the area’s largest grocery store chain has signed a long-term lease in the Cranberry Woods Business Park. It will be the home of its new headquarters.

CEO Bill Artman said in a statement that "We believe that in-person collaboration is vital to grow our business and forge meaningful connections with our customers and each other. Our new headquarters will provide a variety of working and meeting spaces that will foster teamwork and creativity.”

The building includes an on-site gym and cafeteria and will be a new home for about 400 employees.

Cranberry Township's Chairman of The Board of Supervisors Mike Manipole is very happy to have Giant Eagle aboard.

“They come where the talents are and Giant Eagle is a very, very community-oriented business and to have them in our community and to establish that and their presence as a home base, we’re so very, very excited about that,” said Manipole.

The campus is located just off of Interstate 79 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
