A proposal for a major development on the North Shore is gaining momentum. The project is described as a destination attraction with two elements.

Herky Pollock with HiLife Hospitality says it's going to be different than anything that exists in Pittsburgh.

“The indoor component is going to have everything from a full-service restaurant to gaming to a variety of bars and hospitality,” said Pollock.

The outdoor element includes a 30,000 square foot plaza with 15,000-square-foot restaurant and bar area.

Pirates President Travis Williams told the Post-Gazette it will add to the game-day experience when the Pirates are playing at PNC Park.

Pollack says it could be the crown jewel of the North Shore, located just across the street from PNC Park at the corner of North Shore Drive and Mazeroski Way.

The Stadium Authority board has voted to extend a deadline for acquiring control of the land until late March of 2024.
