Forensic pathologist, attorney, and medical-legal consultant Dr. Cyril Wecht recently released a new book titled The Life and Deaths of Cyril Wecht: Memoirs of America’s Most Controversial Forensic Pathologist.

The book describes Dr. Wecht’s life and his work with famous celebrities and high profile individuals. It also includes his legal battles with powerful authorities.

In an interview that includes a variety of topics, Dr. Wecht told KDKA Radio the JFK assassination stands out to him the most. He did not perform the autopsy, but he worked on the case extensively, even up to this day.

“That is the most outstanding case. Not only because it is the president, but from a purely forensic, pathological perspective, it is fraught with great complexity in the investigation, and then you get into all kinds of forensic, scientific, investigative aspects,” Dr. Wecht said during the Morning Show. “Just a fascinating, fascinating case.”

He also worked on the deaths of Robert F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Jr., Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain, and many more.
