This is the last weekend in business for Dave & Andy's Homemade Ice Cream in Oakland. After more than 40 years of scooping, owner Andy Hardie is retiring. Pittsburgh Magazine Food Editor Kristy Graver talked about it on the Big K Morning Show.
“The last day is this Sunday. It will be open from noon till 9:30 or until they run out which will probably happen. Give them some grace the poor employees are scooping their hearts out.”
