A man wanted for a violent assault on two women in McKeesport was arrested Tuesday at a Pittsburgh hospital.
Allegheny County Sheriff Kevin Kraus says his deputies have been looking for 43-year-old David Cochran of Greensburg since June.
That's when he was accused of attacking a woman in a home on Sylvan Avenue in McKeesport, allegedly punching her, knocking out a tooth, trying to restrain her with electrical tape and trying to strangle her with an extension cord.
Cochran allegedly threatened to kill another woman in the house and then fled.
Sheriff's detectives say Cochran was using a fake name as a patient at Allegheny General Hospital and was visiting another patient.
He was located and charged. He'll be transported to the County Jail when doctors clear him.
