The Detroit man responsible for a fatal stabbing on a Greyhound bus outside Pittsburgh has been sentenced to prison time.
Javon Garrett pleaded guilty but mentally ill Wednesday to third-degree murder for the death of Cozell McQueen in July 2023.
Pennsylvania State Police say Garrett was harassing other passengers on the bus traveling along the Parkway East before pulling out a knife and stabbing McQueen in the neck.
A judge sentenced Garrett to a term of 10 to 30 years in prison.
