
A DUI sobriety checkpoint will take place this weekend in the Pittsburgh area.
The South Hills DUI Task Force is working with Jefferson Hills Police and will conduct the checkpoint in Jefferson Hills on August 25 through August 27.
“As we approach the Labor Day holiday, we want to remind drivers, if they are going to drink plan ahead and have a sober driver but if you deiced to drive while under the influence, we will be looking for you,” the task force said in a statement.
The DUI Task Force has officer from the Baldwin, Brentwood, Homestead, West Homestead, Munhall, Elizabeth, Jefferson Hills, Pleasant Hills, South park, West Mifflin, Whitehall, Swissvale, Clairton, Duquesne and Glassport Police Departments.
