Officials say it happened shortly before 4:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Broadway Avenue.

The responding officers saw a vehicle fleeing the scene. They tried to stop the vehicle but lost sight of it on West Liberty Avenue.

The white Chevrolet Camero was found crashed on the Liberty Bridge near the ramp to the Boulevard of the Allies, snarling traffic for hours.

Four people were in the vehicle, three sustained non-life-sustaining injuries and a fourth was unharmed.

Police have learned the incident started outside of a home on Broadway Avenue where a physical fight led to gunfire. That’s when several people fled the area, with four of them in the Camaro.

No one was hurt during the gunfire. An investigation continues.
