A New Jersey man is facing criminal charges for allegedly assaulting the Easter Bunny at a Pittsburgh mall.
According to the criminal complaint, 36-year-old Bera Shivakrishna fondled a woman dressed as the Easter Bunny on Monday at the South Hills Village Mall.
CBS News reports the suspect asked the bunny if they were a boy or a girl and then groped the woman inside, sticking his fingers in the nose and mouth of the costume.
Police later found the suspect asleep in the AMC Theater next to the mall.
When he was confronted by police, Shivakrishna asked if the bunny he groped was a doll.
He was told it was a woman and apologized.
He was arrested and charged indecent assault.
