
An Erie man pleaded guilty in federal court to possessing and distributing sexually exploitive images of young children.
Jeffrey Jepson, 39, pleaded guilty to two counts, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Stephen Kaufman on Thursday.
Jepson distributed sexually explicit photos of child under the age of 6 to an undercover officer. He also possessed other photos is child sexual abuse of children under 12, some of which were infants and toddlers.
While sentencing is scheduled for October 14, 2021, Kaufman's office says Jepson has already agreed to a 12 years in prison and 20 years of supervised release afterward.
