An investigation continues into the Penn Hills man arrested last month for allegedly soliciting explicit photos from young girls across the country.

News Radio KDKA's Shelby Cassesse was at the FBI press conference in Penn Hills Wednesday.

Investigators believe from September 2020-November 2021, Kaung Myat Kyaw would hack a Snapchat users account and use nude photos on the account to blackmail the user into sending more.

Kyaw was arrested on November 18 on child pornography charges.

FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Joe Rothrock explains the suspect called this, the "7-day challenge."

"He would direct them to do increasingly-more explicit images, over the course of seven days, with the understanding that if they did not, he would release those images to family, friends," said Rothrock.

The FBI is also looking for anyone who may have had contact with the following usernames, or variations of these:

·         Savnxh

·         Jokerxkris

·         Krxs.com

There's growing concern there are numerous victims across the country. They are asked to go https://forms.fbi.gov/seeking-victim-information-in-the-7-day-challenge-investigation to report what happened.
