Pennsylvania's new Senate elect, democrat John Fetterman, showed up to the Capital in an unconventional wardrobe (for him).
Fetterman, whose known for his laid-back style of a hoodie and shorts, was in full suit and tie for his new member orientation.
Twitter was in a frenzy over seeing him in anything other than his iconic sweats fits, especially a suit no less!
His wife, Gisele Fetterman posted a tweet that got over 179,000 likes that garnered a bunch of compliments for the couple on their outfits. She noted that her dress was only $12 thrifted too!
The main reason for this wardrobe change is due to the dress code for male senators to wear a jacket and tie.
It's not the first time Fetterman has donned a suit and tie for a visit to the nation's capital.
Back in 2019, when he was serving as Lieutenant Governor for Pennsylvania, he would wear suits regularly on his visits to DC.
He also donned a suit to his October 25th debate against republican candidate Mehmet Oz.
Fetterman's iconic fashion that put him on national notice during his campaign trail may now be a thing of the past for him, but it will always be remembered.
