One of the many casualties from Tuesday's storm is one of the city's most popular pizza joints.
But, losing the roof won't keep Fiori's down for long.
Rain and a huge gust of wind blew the roof right off the top of the building at the famous pizza shop on Capital Avenue in the South Hills.
On Wednesday, the city condemned the building as an unsafe structure with prohibited occupancy.
The family owned business has been an institution for 49 years and they're looking to get a temporary roof put up to reopen as soon as possible.
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro stopped by on Wednesday to check out the damage.
Mayor Ed Gainey stopped as well and told the family if they get that temporary roof up, they would lift the condemnation.
“Mr. Fiori’s only goal is to get back to serving his beloved pizzas to the people of Pittsburgh,” Mayor Gainey wrote. “Mr. [Fiori] we are here to support you and get it done! We got you!”
The city says they will be out to re-inspect once the roof is on.
The family says it won't be long before they resume serving their signature pies.
