PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Delays are expected on the Pittsburgh Regional Transit light-rail system after a fire and evacuation were carried out at the South Hills Village station.
According to PRT, the fire started when an overhead power line caught blaze and forced the evacuation.
There were six passengers in the car at the time of the fire but no one was injured.
The fire was put out by Bethel Park and Mt. Lebanon fire departments and shuttle buses are on the way to operate.
The shuttle buses will run between Washington Junction and South Hills Village.
