On November 19th the Lawson family's world changed forever.
A wood-burning stove in their Saxonburg home caught the house on fire and killed 53-year-old Sam Lawson. Amy Lawson and her three children were able to make it out unharmed.
They lost everything.
Right away their tight-knit community took action to help Amy, her daughter, and two sons. They received all kinds of donations, everything from clothing to thousands of dollars in cash.
Amy says it hasn't been easy, but they have been so blessed with support, she's now able to start the process to rebuild their home.
She also wants to make sure the blessings of all those donations don't go to waste so she reached out to Get Marty.
We're helping to connect her with people who could use them. Watch the video to see more on the items, then send me an email: GetMarty@kdkaradio.com
