Temperatures will be in the 70s for the rest of the week perhaps foreshadowing a lack of winter weather to end the year.
Meteorologist Matt Benz says it's thanks to an el Niño cycle.
“It looks like the first half of the winter, we’re talking December, January maybe into the first part of February, it may be kind of limited for snow just because we won’t have much in the way of storms moving through the region and it could be on the warm side,” said Benz.
Benz says the tail end of winter could be a different story, where the bulk of the snow could come around March.
