Fitzgerald says Allegheny County COVID vaccination is increasing

Vaccine distribution is starting to really ramp up in Allegheny County.

County Executive Rich Fitzgerald told KDKA Radio's Marty Griffin, "You're seeing more and more of it. We're almost up to 300,000 vaccines in the arms here in Allegheny County and again, we're hoping next week we get it close to 400,000."

Fitzgerald said the county received its share of vaccine this week which will allow them to fully schedule appointments next week at the county's Monroeville and Castle Shannon clinics as well as senior housing buildings.
