Former Arnold Police Chief facing felony drug charges

The former police chief in Arnold is facing felony drug charges.

The state Attorney General’s Office arrested Eric Doutt on Thursday.

The 56-year-old was arraigned on six felony counts of making, delivering or possessing drugs with the intent to deliver.

The charges stem from an alleged October incident in Rayburn Township.

Doutt was unable to post $250,000 bail and is being held in the Armstrong County Jail.

An online profile indicates he was most recently working as a police officer for UPMC.
