53-year-old Ashok Panigrahy is reported to be a former UPMC Children's Hospital radiologist and a professor of Pediatric Radiology at the University of Pittsburgh
The indictment accuses Panigrahy of possessing material showing the sexual exploitation of a minor and attempting to transport it across state lines.
Panigrahy faces up to 20 years in prison and up to a quarter of a million dollars in fines.
