Next week, the lower deck of the Fort Duquesne bridge will be down to a single lane.
The restriction will happen weekdays October 19-23 from 9am to 3pm.
Crews will be conducting repair work. No restrictions will be in place on the upper deck.
In addition, the I-579 approach to the Veterans Bridge will also be reduced to a single lane northbound while crews inspect the structure.
That lane restriction will happen Sunday, October 18 from 6am to noon and then again Monday through Wednesday from 9am to 3pm.
PennDOT made the announcement Friday.
