At least four people shot in less than 24 hours in Pittsburgh

Four people shot in Allegheny County since Monday afternoon.

One man is dead, three others have injuries after gunfire in at least three incidents in McKeesport and Homewood North.


29-year-old Noah Wilkerson was found shot to death in a car yesterday afternoon in the 7100 block of Hermitage Street after ShotSpotter alerted police to more than 10 rounds fired before 2 p.m.

Around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound was dropped off by a private vehicle at Pittsburgh EMS headquarters.

Medics unloaded the victim from the vehicle, which quickly took off. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition with a wound to his lower leg. The victim told police he was shot in McKeesport.

At the same time, another man arrived at a hospital via private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the arm. He is in stable condition.

It is not known where that shooting took place.
