The Hazlett family had originally set up a GoFundMe page to help with Patrick Hazlett's medical bills as he fought to overcome the coronavirus (COVID-19). According to family members, he tested positive on November 25th, one day after he last worked out of the Allegheny County Port Authority's Collier bus garage.

The 34-year-old was hospitalized and ten days later his recovery hopes were lost when he passed away. Now instead of planning for him to get better, his wife is left alone with four young kids.

Patrick's cousin, Traci Polliard, tells me it's a difficult time for the family. She says Patrick tell us what a wonderful man they lost, and addresses internet trolls who have lashed out on social media.
Let's do our part to help turn the situation around.
