PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Anthrocon will return to Pittsburgh in 2022 for the annual furry convention at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
The anthropomorphics group is currently in talks with Visit Pittsburgh to bring a surprise this time around.
"We are looking at something very special to enhance and expand the fur-suit parade experience, not just for our folks, but for everyone in Pittsburgh," said John Cole, director of community outreach at Anthrocon, during the KDKA Radio Morning Show Wednesday.
There is also an opportunity for children to become involved - any child in Pittsburgh that submits a piece of artwork in the city-wide art show, within the requirements, will be eligible for $1,000 education grant.
