It's families like this that can tug at your heartstrings. Brandon Duplinsky wasn't looking for a handout from anyone when he called in to Get Marty on KDKA Radio last week. He was looking for answers. The IRS website that tracks stimulus payments was showing an error for the family's second-round payment and that worried Brandon and his lovely wife Lindsay. The pandemic hasn't been kind to their financial situation.
They have five kids and Brandon's construction job had disappeared. He has a new job now and things are looking up, but they're thousands of dollars behind on their mortgage among other bills. In the video above Brandon and Lindsay tell me about how they've dealt with the struggle and how blessed they are that people care enough to help them out.
We had them setup a GoFundMe account and they're halfway to saving their home.

Maybe just as amazing, Brandon and Lindsay say they're planning to pay it forward when they're able to help someone else.
