It's an act of kindness that helped keep families warm throughout the cold winter.
When Edward Schmitzer signed up to become a "Neighborhood Hero" for the KDKA Radio Warmathon benefitting the Dollar Energy Fund he knew there was a chance he could win a new roof from EAS Roofing.

Wouldn't you know it, he was selected but didn't really need a new roof on his home. So what did he do? He offered it up to an organization that did need it, The Lighthouse Foundation in Butler, PA. (Follow the link for more on their mission)
In the video on this page, you'll see the excitement and find out what this means to the organization and its efforts to help the community. You'll also see why this means so much to EAS Roofing owner Eugene Smith.

Eugene donated $7,500 worth of roofing as part of the 2022 KDKA Radio Warmathon benefitting the Dollar Energy Fund. That's a big commitment from a small local business committed to giving back to the community.
