Giant Eagle completes remodels of two Pittsburgh-area stores

Pittsburgh's Headlines: August 6, 2026

Two Pittsburgh-area Giant Eagle locations have been completely remodeled and renovated.

The Cranberry Township store on Route 19 and West View store on W. View Park Drive. have been revamped with Giant Eagle bringing back the Giant Buggy and holding a ceremonial ribbon cutting to celebrate.

It’s part of a multi-million-dollar investment into revamping local stores.

“We are excited to reintroduce guests to our Cranberry and West View Giant Eagle locations, and we are thrilled for them to see how we’ve improved the in-stores shopping experience,” said Dan Donovan, Giant Eagle spokesperson. “The loyalty and support these communities have shown to Giant Eagle throughout the decades has meant the world to us, and we are pleased to reward that loyalty by delivering Giant Eagle’s newest store design, which bring freshness, quality, and savings to the forefront of the experience.

The Giant Buggy is at the Cranberry Giant Eagle from 9 a.m. to noon and the West View location from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for photo opportunities.

$2,500 donations are being made to the Seneca Valley Foundation and the North Hills Foundation.

To celebrate the remodel, Giant Eagle has announced sales on items like Oscar Mayer Lunchables, donuts from the bakery and cans of Pepsi Prebiotic 10-for-$10.

The Seven Fields Giant Eagle is currently under remodeling and several other areas are expected to be refurbished in the coming months.
