
Giant Eagle is in the process of looking for a new headquarters site.
It's been a time of change for the grocery chain.
The pandemic had most of Giant Eagle's administrative employees working from home.
In August, there was a new CEO.
Now the company confirms it will be transitioning to a hybrid work model in 2024.
Even with that change, it appears Giant Eagle no longer needs 150,000 square feet in O'Hara Township.
The company let its lease at RIDC expire in 2021.
A spokesperson says Giant Eagle it is "reviewing potential... locations in and around Pittsburgh."
Sources say the focus is in the area's northern suburbs.
