Giant Eagle celebrated the opening of their new corporate headquarters in Cranberry Township Thursday.
The new 100,000 square foot building has been renovated and features several modern amenities including an on-site gym, walking and jogging trails and an on-site cafe.
While the 400-plus on-site employees will ease back to being in the office with a hybrid work schedule, CEO Bill Artman told KDKA Radio, “We are really happy to be here, we’re really happy to have everybody back together and we’re really happy to continue to focus on how we can do a better job for the communities in which we operate, the customers that count on us and our 36,000 team members.”
Artman said they’re easing employees back into the office slowly so they have time to make any adjustments with their family schedule.
The celebration included a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebrated the conclusion of several months of preparation to creating the modern work environment for Giant Eagle Team Member.
The new building features several amenities including an on-site gym, walking and jogging trails and an on-site cafe.
Artman says they picked Cranberry because of the available space, ample parking and ease of commute for employees.
