Another round of pandemic relief checks is up for discussion in the Pennsylvania legislature.

Governor Wolf was in West View Wednesday promoting the legislation, which would send up to $2,000 to households that make $80,000 or less. The state would use COVID relief money to fund the initiative.
“I’m talking about $2 billion that is sitting in a checking account out in Harrisburg that if we don’t use it, by the end of 2024, we have to send back to Washington.”
The bill is intended to help families make ends meet in the face of inflation and pandemic related costs.
Governor Wolf called on the state legislature to pass it amid soaring inflation, hefty gas prices, and many families still in pandemic recovery.
