PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) caught an Ohio man with a loaded handgun at Pittsburgh International Airport on Tuesday.
The 9mm handgun loaded with seven bullets in the man's backpack was spotted by TSA officers in the checkpoint X-ray machine.
Allegheny County Police were alerted and confiscated the gun while temporarily detaining the man for questioning.
This is the 19thgun caught at the Pittsburgh International Airport this year.
