The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a "Special Weather Statement" for a majority of Western Pennsylvania.
The NWS says that there is the "potential for snow squalls/bands" increasing Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.
The likelihood of snow will increase as the evening goes on and while less than an inch is expected, "quick bursts of snow will lead to reductions in visibility and slick conditions at times."
Temperatures will drop quickly as well and can lead to slick spots overnight on area roads
Those slick roads could be around in some spots into the Thursday morning rush hour.
High winds are also possible overnight with gusts up to 40 miles per hour.
