A bit of Pittsburgh history is returning to one store's shelves for a short time.
It's been gone for about a decade but the memories live on, thanks in part to memorable TV ads including the Carly Simon song “Anticipation”.
And now, for a brief period, Heinz Ketchup in glass bottles will be returning to the shelves.
But only at Walmart. It marks the 157th anniversary of the company with 57 varieties.
A two-pack of the glass bottled ketchup will sell for 14.99.
Founded by H.J. Heinz in Pittsburgh, the company first started selling its then “Catsup” on store shelves in 1876.
While ketchup has become the star, Heinz started his company by selling ‘pure and superior’ horseradish in 1869.
