Homestead man sentenced to 12 years in drug-related overdose and death

United States Attorney Scott Brady announced Monday that a Homestead man has been sentenced to a dozen years in prison as a result of a drug-related death and overdose.

According to Brady's office, 45-year-old Clayton Murphy, distributed heroin and fentanyl on three different occasions.

One of the people who received the drugs overdosed, but was revived with Narcan. Another person also overdosed, but died.
