Allegheny County Police have arrested a North Huntingdon man after several inappropriate photos of young females were found on his phone.

Back in March, the department got a tip through ChildLine, reporting an incident involving a seven-year-old girl.

Police say 21-year-old Michael McFarland told the victim to take an inappropriate photo of herself in the bathroom during a Bible study inside a home in South Park Township.

The victim said she knew McFarland from Providence Reformed Church.

After reviewing his phone, investigators found 11 total photographs of seven different underage females “in various stages of undress.”

McFarland was arrested last week and faces multiple charges, including criminal solicitation, sexual abuse of children and unlawful conduct with a minor.

None of the other victims have been identified by police.

Anyone with any information regarding the case is asked to call 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can stay anonymous.
