A week after announcing some of its locations will close, Joann fabrics now says that ALL locations across the country will shutter.
Last week it was announced Joann was closing more than 500 of its 800 stores across the country.
In a release on Monday, Joann said, in part: Following a comprehensive sale process and auction, GA Group together with the Prepetition Term Loan Agent, was selected as having the winning bid to acquire substantially all of JOANN’s assets. Subject to court approval of the transaction, the winning bidders plan to wind-down ongoing operations and conduct going-out-of-business sales at all JOANN locations.
In the Pittsburgh area, that includes Jo-Ann locations in:
Whitehall - 2570 Macarthur Road
Bridgeville - 1155 Washington Pike
Butler - 160 Pullman Square
Belle Vernon – 360 Tri County Lane
West Mifflin – 513 Clairton Boulevard
Ross Township – 7375 McKnight Road
Cranberry Township – 20111 Rt. 19
Monroeville – 3700 William Penn Highway
Robinson Township – Park Manor Boulevard
Greensburg – 1600 Greengate Centre Boulevard
Indiana - 1570 Oakland Avenue
Tarentum - 133 Pittsburgh Mills Circle
Many Joann locations are expected to stay open through May.
