PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) A judge has halted the plans set by PennDOT to place tolls on as many as nine bridges across the state of Pennsylvania.
One of those tolls included one on I-79 near Bridgeville.
A commonwealth judge issued a preliminary injunction which orders PennDOT to halt work on its tolling plan until the courts can come to a decision.
Multiple municipalities, including Cumberland County, filed a lawsuit over the tolling of a bridge on I-83.
If PennDOT was to go through with their plans of tolling bridges across the state, they would be in place for 30 years.
