This week, one of our longtime staffers had open heart surgery.

It happened because he saw a doctor, something he hadn't done for several years. Testing revealed several arterial blockages requiring bypass surgery.

This is why it's important to see your doctor at least once a year.

Our friend and coworker could have suffered a massive heart attack.

That's been averted, much to our relief and even more so his family. In recent months, another coworker suffered a series of minor heart attacks and needed emergency bypass surgery.

A recent Cleveland Clinic survey shows 60% of men don’t see a doctor regularly.

The best reason to do it is, annual physical exams can catch problems early, when they are more treatable, especially for older adults.

We have two coworkers who recommend it highly and we encourage you to see a doctor soon if it’s been a while.
