Another issue with a cell phone caused a delay on the Phantom’s Revenge at Kennywood Monday afternoon.
Spokesperson Lynsey Winters tells KDKA Radio the roller coaster was stopped “to address a guest with a cell phone.”
The ride was reportedly stopped on the tracks for around 10 minutes climbing one of the hills before continuing.
This comes after a rider on the Phantom’s Revenge was hit by a loose cell phone earlier this month.
That rider had to be taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Kennywood reminds guests that all loose articles, including cell phones, “are strictly prohibited on all attractions.”
The coaster has since resumed normal operations.
