KDKA Radio’s own Larry Richert always wanted to be on The Tonight Show and on Monday night it finally happened…kind of.

Pittsburgh native and star of Deal or No Deal Island, Joe Manganiello was on with Jimmy Fallon to talk about the new season.

While on the show, the Mt. Lebanon native was asked about his Steeler fandom.

“When you’re born (in Pittsburgh), it’s religion, it’s what you do on Sundays,” said Manganiello.

Fallon showed footage of Manganiello running onto the field for the Terrible Towel wave before a home game at Acrisure Stadium this season.

In the video, Larry’s voice can be heard loud and clear.

“Please welcome, Mt. Lebanon native, actor, author and lifelong Steelers superfan… Joe Manganiello!” Larry can be heard saying.

For those of you that don’t know, Larry is the public address announcer at Acrisure Stadium for every Steelers home game.

“I’ve always wanted to be on the Tonight Show, this is as close as I’ll probably get,” Larry said.

Manganiello also shared details about the Steelers cake his girlfriend, Caitlin O’Connor got him for his birthday just a week and a half ago.

Manganiello joked that he doesn’t think he’ll get to do a Towel wave in Baltimore for this weekend’s Wild Card game between the Steelers and Ravens.
