A Lawrence County man is in custody after his girlfriend was found shot to death in their Bessemer Borough home early Tuesday morning.
State Police say 33-year-old Brandi Genova was shot several times inside the residence on Bestview Avenue.
33-year-old Michael Work was arrested at the Union Square shopping plaza and is charged with criminal homicide.
His family called authorities last night after he told them he shot his girlfriend.
He's being held without bond in the Lawrence County Jail.
