A man is hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in the stomach, in the central part of Lawrenceville overnight.
It happened just before 1 a.m. at the intersection of Butler Street and Stanton Avenue.
Police rendered aid until an ambulance arrived on the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital and was rushed into surgery.
Police are investigating. No word of any arrests.
