Students can now take part in the 2022 "Let's Clear the Air" poster challenge!
All public, private and parochial schools in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland counties are eligible to take part in the contest.
Each student participating is to learn about the effects of air pollution and how to reduce its exposure. The poster will promote clean air and alternative transportation.
This is the 12th year the Pennsylvania Resources Council, Inc. is putting on the competition. Prizes will be segmented into three categories.
· Upper Elementary (Grades 4-5)
· Middle School (Grades 6-8)
· High School (9-12)
The artwork that wins will be displayed in public venues across Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Teachers must register by Tuesday, March 1 and submit posters by April 15.
